Take some time to study all of the pieces. Notice which ones are similar and which ones are especially tricky—those with many branches or unusual shapes that will be difficult to place later.

Several pieces look like the number 4 with an extra section attached. Keep track of all of them, and ideally place them together while solving. If you get stuck, try swapping one for another.

The pieces that form a complete diamond (or a circle, if that's how you see it) are especially valuable.One of them consists of four sections and forms a complete circle. Several others contain three sections of the same circle.Save these pieces for when you really need them. Whenever possible, try using the other pieces first.

At first, try placing the pieces on the board to understand how they fit. However, once you get familiar with them, it's actually easier to assemble the puzzle outside the board.The truth is, you never know whether a particular piece will end up in the center or near the edge. This puzzle works much like a jigsaw puzzle. Keep the board nearby as a reference, but freely rotate and rearrange the pieces on the table. You'll make progress much faster because you won't be forcing a piece into a specific location—you'll simply be building around it.

Don't be afraid to move a piece you've already placed to a completely different spot. That's just how this puzzle works.You never know whether a section has been assembled correctly until much later. If you reach a point where only one specific piece can fit elsewhere, simply take it from its current position and move it. The space it leaves behind will often lead to new possibilities as you rearrange a few more pieces.

Once you've assembled a substantial part of the puzzle on the table, it's time to transfer it onto the board.There are several different solutions to this puzzle. From here on, we'll demonstrate one specific approach.
